Software Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Software Engineer, you’ll help further Ohanafy’s mission to transform the beverage industry through development of our core product built on Salesforce. We are looking for an individual with a go-getter attitude that can learn our product and Salesforce while growing with our company and help to continually improve and enhance our product.

REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years’ experience
• Strong programming skills Apex (Java), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Excellent computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Sound judgment, detail-oriented

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a great teammate and help others while being adaptable and flexible enough to support ever-changing product needs based on customer and market feedback
• Work alongside Head of Product and other Ohanafy team members to develop on Salesforce using Apex (Java), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Provide support to Sales and Professional Services departments for product demonstrations and customer implementations on ad-hoc basis
• Testing and debugging of product features
• Contribute to technical and product documentation
• Learn the Salesforce platform and Ohanafy Beverage Operating System
• Participate fully as a member of the Product Development team
• Demonstrate the ability to independently problem solve and research solutions
• Independently complete complex coding tasks
• Provide thoughtful and careful code reviews
• Follow coding best practices and standards
• Participate in design sessions with focus on suggesting solutions
• Understand the business domain, data model, and design of the code base for the Ohanafy product
• Continuously learn and expand knowledge of technologies (languages, frameworks, etc.) used by Ohanafy
• Continuously learn and expand knowledge of coding, design, and development
• Continuously learn and expand knowledge of the Craft Beverage industry

DESIRED

• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software preferred
• Experience with client-side JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, Knockout, etc.
• Agile software development experience
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with others in a professional and respectful manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Passion for software development
• Collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills
